Laura Conn, LMSW

Laura Conn received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan and her Master of Science in Clinical Social Work from New York University. She completed her clinical training at Bellevue Hospital’s Opioid Outpatient Treatment Program and a middle school counseling program in Brooklyn. Laura has received extensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma.

She has provided treatment to adolescents and adults struggling with emotional dysregulation, mood and personality disorders, anxiety, trauma, and OCD in various settings, including hospitals, outpatient programs, and schools. Prior to working at The Gold Center, Laura was a clinician at The Center for Cognitive and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (CCDBT), where she was a member of a comprehensive DBT team. At CCDBT, she provided individual DBT and CBT therapy, parent coaching, and co-led DBT skills groups for adolescents and adults.

Currently, Laura is a member of The Gold Center’s comprehensive DBT program and leads the Adult DBT Skills Group. She provides multimodal treatment to adolescents and adults, specializing in DBT and evidence-based interventions for emotional and behavioral dysregulation.
